The initial consultation will start from questions about your chief complaint and some details about your general health and medical history,this is may followed by an assessment or test(if it is necessary)at the affected area.It also involves taking the pulse and observing the tongue’s picture, to give the practitioner some further information about your entire body. The treatment principle and plans will be explained for each individual.<br>

How often and how many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments will vary from person to person but it is usual to visit once or twice a week to start with. Progress often depends on how long you have been unwell, your age and condition. Most people have a course of treatment and usually notice changes after four to six sessions. Your practitioner will review your progress with you, and carefully monitor your treatment to ensure that it matches your needs.

BAcC members have an extensive training in acupuncture (to undergraduate degree level) and in biomedical sciences appropriate to the practice of acupuncture in the UK. As well as being covered by full Medical Malpractice and Public/ Products Liability Insurance, BAcC members are bound by codes of professional conduct and safe practice. <br>
